Ray and Linda Booker OSU Flight Center

The Ray and Linda Booker Flight Center was designed with students and program growth in mind. The building replaces OSU Aviation’s outdated facilities and more than doubles the space available to students and flight instructors. Located just south of Stillwater Regional Airport, the flight center includes spaces for individual flight debriefings and feedback, workstations for flight instructors, on-site group instruction and discussion areas, an academic suite, dispatch space, and student common areas including a lounge and locker rooms. The facility offers state-of-the-art simulator technology. The brand-new 11,600-square-foot facility is named after the Bookers, two aviation enthusiasts and longtime Oklahoma State supporters.

The superstructure is a pre-engineered metal building structure (PEMB) with a conventionally reinforced concrete slab-on-grade and isolated spread footing system.
