Hanna joined the ZFI team after completing her master’s degree in structural engineering at the University of Texas in Austin. She has been involved in a wide variety of projects improving her understanding of long-term structural behavior in the investigative realm with parking garage evaluations, litigative disputes, and medical equipment replacement renovations. She has also designed various large-scale projects including the new OCS Elementary, the AXO Sorority House at OU, and the Oklahoma State Fairgrounds Coliseum. Hanna has been steadily working towards her Structural Engineer licensure.

Her interest in engineering started when she was young. Hanna’s family has been involved in construction for many generations. She grew up going to jobsites with her dad and grandad and asking questions like “why is that there?” Or “how is does this work?” These questions and the subsequent answers inspired her to pursue a career in engineering. Her background and education have given her a unique insight into both the design and construction sides of the industry.

When Hanna is not working, she enjoys hiking, reading, playing ukulele, and visiting family and friends.
