PROFESSIONAL BIO

After completing her bachelor’s degree in architectural engineering from Oklahoma State University, Angela worked in Tulsa for a short period of time before joining the team at ZFI Engineering Co. She thoroughly enjoys the challenges that come with designing solutions for both new and existing structures. Through working at ZFI, she has found a passion for investigating and working with existing structures, performing structural assessments, modifications, and repairs.

Angela has project management, engineering, investigative, and construction administration experience from a myriad of new and renovation projects in the commercial, healthcare, education, government, and other sectors of the industry. She has extensive experience in 2D AutoCAD drafting, 3D modeling in Revit Structure, and detailing new and existing structures. She especially enjoys investigative work by performing assessments and rehabilitation projects for existing structures.

Growing up in a rural area outside of Houston, Texas, her first job at a local hardware store and lumber company gave her firsthand real-life experience and knowledge about the construction industry. She also gained real world experience assisting her father in renovating and modifying houses in northeast Oklahoma.

In her free time, Angela enjoys spending time with her family, playing instruments with the praise team at church, working on a myriad of creative art projects, and working out at the local Club Pilates studio.
