Having four decades of structural engineering experiences, Danny has resourced himself with a vast breadth of “lessons learned.” Early in any design project, he enjoys studying the architectural building design aspects, identifying structural complexities that may be present, and proposing structural solutions to the design team for consideration.

After completing his master’s degree from Oklahoma State University, Danny worked in a small consulting structural engineering office before joining the ZFI Engineering team. As a senior project structural engineer, he enjoys engaging in job-related relationships and working together with other design professionals to find the best structural solutions for projects.

As long as Danny can remember, he has enjoyed drawing, graphics, and mathematics. He found that architecture was a good fit for these interests and refined that focus to structural engineering during his university years. An accurate structural design, properly constructed, is crucial to a safe and functional structure, and the structural design must be presented in a clearly detailed graphical format to be constructed as intended. In all of this, Danny finds professional satisfaction utilizing his personal interests.

Outside the office, Danny is very involved in his church and spends a lot of time with his family. He also enjoys art and woodworking.
