David has been a member of the ZFI family for many years. He handles drafting structural drawings with AutoCAD and utilizes Revit Structure. He is essential catching inaccuracies in the drawings as the projects progress into construction documents. 

Before joining ZFI, David worked for a geotechnical engineering firm as the sole AutoCAD drafter. He produced many different types of diagrams and maps. He worked in the environmental department and handled a variety of testing/sampling for air, water, and soils. His passion for the industry started in college when he was a cabinet carpenter, building store displays for Ralph Lauren, Bass Pro Shops, Vineyard Vines, which then progressed to his opportunity to worked in the engineering department, learning to use AutoCAD to produce drawings.   

Outside the office, you can find David every Sunday at his church serving with his family. He and his son drive a golf cart together for the host/parking team. He also serves as a leader for the life groups/life missions’ team and leads a men’s life group every week. He also enjoys golfing, skating, hiking, car cruises, car shows, and racing. David is passionate about getting people plugged into small groups and connecting with others.
