Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority House at Oklahoma State University

Following demolition of the existing structure, the new Zeta Tau Alpha sorority house at Oklahoma State University was constructed on the same site. The facility includes a partial basement and three above-grade levels that integrate social spaces, residential rooms, and service areas. The basement and first floor house major common areas, including a large chapter room, living room, formal dining room, and multiple craft and study spaces. The second and third floors contain a total of 31 residential rooms accommodating 68 beds.

The building features a Modern Tudor aesthetic with a Texas limestone stone veneer. Structurally, the house utilizes a conventional steel frame with composite concrete floor slabs supported by steel beams. The basement is constructed with concrete slabs and walls founded on drilled concrete piers and grade beams. Lateral loads are resisted by concentrically braced steel frames at the upper levels and a reinforced concrete shear wall system at the basement level.
