CPN Hotel

The CPN Hotel is a three-story, 126-room hotel and part of a new entertainment district to improve lodging for FireLake Arena visitors next door. The 80,000 square-foot hotel consists of a canopy and lobby space for check in, breakfast, and lounge area. Working closely with the architect and owner, ZFI designed around owner preferred subcontractors which allowed the build to be more efficient and economical.

The CPN hotel has a structural slab and premanufactured cold-formed metal framing. The onsite erection helped expedite the project schedule. Part of the projects was funded through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), which was distributed by the federal government during the coronavirus pandemic to help spur economic development. CPN received more than $200 million for the entire entertainment district.
